The National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners recently released a draft resolution recommending that state commissions, the FCC and USAC work together with those federal and state agencies that implement Lifeline and Affordable Connectivity Programs.
The resolution also called for the FCC and USAC establish agreements with state and federal departments of agriculture, health and human services and other agencies that establish Lifeline and Affordable Connectivity programs.
Given the number of state and federal agencies and the variety of programs involved, it seems essential that there be a high level of communication and coordination in these efforts.
NARUC should be applauded for spearheading these initiatives.
