The FCC recently announced that it had made errors in 37 of its A-CAM II offers to RLECs still receiving legacy support. Its June 5th Public Notice makes corrected offers to the affected carriers, while extending the election date for acceptance to July 17, 2019. This 30-day extension applies to all companies, not just those with corrected offers.
If a carrier affected by a correction has already accepted the A-CAM II offer, it may choose to withdraw its acceptance by the new deadline.
We covered the A-CAM II order in more detail in our blogs of January 17, 2019, and May 3, 2019. As stated then, ICORE stands ready to assist you with all aspects of the decision to stay with, or move from, legacy support.
